While Jesus was out of town his good friend Lazarus fell ill. Lazarus' sister sent word to Jesus because she was confident that he would heal her brother. By the time Jesus returned Lazarus had died and was entombed. But the whole situation was for the glory of God to be revealed. Sometimes we have situations and desires that seem to have fallen and the situation seems dire and unfixable, the question is do we have the faith to believe in the one who says " I am the resurrection and the life".

This song is a reminder that Jesus is not distracted by delays and that our faith should not be derailed when His timing does not match ours. But when our trust is in Him it will all work out for the glory of God. Imagine Jesus had a cell phone at the time of this narrative his conversation with Mary and Martha would have sounded something like this..
